PLC/HMI Engineer (with expertise in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI's)

We currently seek a high caliber PLC/HMI Engineer for a contract basis within our team of experienced professionals. Based in Monterrey, México.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate shall have and demonstrate skills in requirements gathering, design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions including batch software, PLC based systems, HMI packages, SCADA systems, PC networking technology.

This person will have a proven track record in programming leadership as well as the ability to develop and implement standard engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion.

Daily responsibilities include solutions implementation and support to meet the team objectives.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with demonstrated skills in requirements definition, design, documentation, integration and implementation of safety and process control solutions for the refinery industry.
- BS in Mecatronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Controls System Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong Allen Bradley (Rockwell) PLC and HMI programming skills and exposure is a must (project references required in the presentation letter).
- Senior knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access is a must.
- Expert understanding of P&IDs, MFDs, PFDs.
- HMI, PLC installation and Safety System testing.
- English speaking fluently, written and spoken.
- Prepared to travel overseas for several months at a time (United States, SouthAmerica, Europe, Asia and Africa).
- Capable of working in a team as well as on his own.
- Exposure to AutoCad is a plus.
- Field experience in the Oil&Gas (refineries, offshore) industry is a plus.
- Position based in Monterrey, México with availability to travel abroad 30-50% of the time.
